REMINDER: “MEA NIGHT AT THE PADRES” TICKET SALES – ONLINE ONLY LOTTERY REGISTRATION – ENDS NEXT WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 12:00 P.M.

Hello MEA Members,

Just a brief reminder that the “MEA Night at the Padres” Ticket Sales – Online Only Lottery Registration will be coming to a close next Wednesday, May 22 at 12:00 p.m.

If you haven’t registered for the lottery and still want to, please make a plan to complete the online webform before the opportunity passes.

A fun update: MEA’s President, Michele Chicarelli will be throwing out the first pitch at the June 21st game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Let’s make some noise as we cheer on Michele!

Summer is fast approaching which means it’s time to get out to the ballpark for MEA Padres Night!

MEA has secured the rooftop of the Western Metal Supply Building, which can accommodate 500 members and guests with plenty of room to mingle and enjoy the beautiful view from the highest point of Petco Park.  Each ticket also includes access to food and drink (hot dogs, sliders, nachos, popcorn, peanuts, sodas, and water) which will be available beginning about an hour before gametime and only about an hour and a half after the game begins.  Ticket holders will also get a seat in the upper deck of the ballpark right next to the Western Metal Supply Building with open seating in Sections 326 and 328.

This year, the two games are:

MEA covers most of the cost of these tickets and food. MEA members pay only $25 per ticket to attend and may purchase up to two tickets total (one for the member and one guest).  These tickets cannot be sold to anyone else.

New Lottery Process for Ticket Sales:

Based on member feedback, we are selling tickets to both “MEA Night at the Padres” games via a lottery.  Instead of frantically calling in on a single day, you will have two weeks to fill out a simple webform on MEA’s website.  Tickets will be distributed to members who enter based on a lottery system.

Beginning today, MEA members will be able to fill out the webform by logging into the Member Portal of the MEA website, choosing Current Surveys from the menu on the left-hand side, and clicking on the 2024 Padres Ticket Webform link (for more directions, view this PDF). The lottery will close on Wednesday, May 22, 12:00 p.m.

You will be asked to choose ONE of the two games and tell us if you want to purchase one or two tickets.

If you win the lottery to purchase tickets, you will be notified via email and given more information about how to pay for and pick up your tickets. If you do not win, you will be placed on the waiting list for any tickets returned or not paid for by the lottery winners.
